Styling Paper Bag Pants

Everyone knows that I am a huge dress person.  It is rare for me to wear pants, but I think I am going to start making an exception for these paper bag pants!  They are flattering and easy to style.  Plus, it has been a windchill in the single digits this week. I suppose I should dress more weather appropriate!  That being said, paper bag pants are going to be a spring staple for me, so look for more posts styling them soon.

One of the reasons I love paper bag pants is simply because they look chic.  They cinch in at the waist and accentuate exactly where I want.  Paper bag pants are available in lots of different styles:  cropped, wide leg or more tailored.  I am more on the petite side at only 5’4″ so I always wear heels with mine.  In my personal opinion, I think they look best when styled with a fitted top or bodysuit, like I have them styled.  You can pair with a more dressy blouse or even a crop top if you want a more relaxed look though.

Shopping Options

I am a huge fan of Amazon fashion.  I have had a few duds, but for the most part the things I get off Amazon are pretty good, especially for the price point!  Both the black and olive green pair I am wearing, came from there and are super reasonably priced at $20.  Express has a fantastic selection of different styles.  They even have jumpsuits that give the same style illusion.  There is a chambray pair on their site that I am definitely going to be investing in for the spring.    I will link all of my favorite ones below for you, the prices range from $16-$100, at the time of this post.

A Personal Note

Thank you all for stopping by today, I really appreciate your support.  The last year has proved super difficult for me.  At one point I almost decided to just stop blogging altogether.  Ultimately I determined that I want to keep blogging for me.  IMHO, I am not really a selfish person; but I blog for me.  I enjoy the creative process and creating styles, recipes and really just sharing my heart with you.  Perhaps I will share more in the future, but for now, please know that I am so thankful you made the time to read my post.  Your encouragement is something that I don’t take for granted.  And please, if there is something specific you want to know more about, leave me a comment!

The black pair and cheetah print top is definitely my favorite! 😍 And because of you, I shop more Amazon for my work clothes. I love the convenience and price points. I lucked out and got several cute dresses that I can pair with flats or riding boots for this fall and winter. But I’m definitely needing warmer clothes now! Have any favorite pull on slacks (because I really wanna wear leggings) that are easy to pair with sweaters? Or t-shirts and a cardigan?
Remember- I love a deal so bank breaking suggestions 😉❤️

Hey Connie! You know I am a bargain shopper. 🙂 These slacks are actually pull on that I am wearing! I will look for some other options for you and email them to you. As for leggings, they won’t let you wear faux leather ones with a blazer? Ugh! Dress Codes, LOL!
