Olive Green Knit Dress: Transition to Fall

I have mentioned before that I love a good piece of clothing that will easily transition into a new season.  This olive green knit dress is the perfect item to take you from Summer to Fall.  In the south, we have so many days that start out on the cooler side, but end up in the 70’s or 80’s.  Or it is hot outside but freezing in the A/C during the Summer  So when I find something that I can make work for temperature swings, I grab it.

If you have been around the blog at all, you know that I love a good deal.  And I picked this dress up on Amazon Prime for under $27!  This dress is a maxi, but it isn’t so long that you trip over it.  Super important for us shorties.  I love that it has a wrap skirt feel to it; but it is really a front slit.  It has a tulip hem and a high/low feel to it.  It came with a matching belt, which I used when I wore my jean jacket.

I am a total belt girl, though, so I added my own belt to the other look.  There is a similar one linked for you below.  It worked great with the sandals and minimal jewelry.  The dress is so cute on its own, I did not feel like I needed to add much more to it.  Sometimes simple is best.

I hope you all are having a great week.  It finally feels like fall here in NC and we got some rain!  I know that I will miss my summer warmth soon; but for now, I am ready to see the leaves change.  It was my Mama’s favorite time of year, and I know I will be thinking of her as I see them turn orange and red.  Thanks for stopping by today!
