New Year’s Eve Outfit Under $30
I don’t know about you, but I love a reason to get all dressed up. Especially when there is an excuse to wear sequins! New Year’s Eve is always a fun time of year. Since there are a lot of parties and festivities, it is the opportune time to wear these fun things. One thing I don’t want to do though, is break the bank on an outfit I might not wear a lot. Anyone else?
Sequin Skirt
I was so happy I was able to find a full sequin skirt on Amazon Prime! I love the ombre effect that the sequins have and I love that it has silver to gold to black. It makes it easy to style and I bet you have a top that you can pair with it in your closet right now! A little about the skirt, it is under $30 and available in a variety of colors if gold and silver aren’t your thing. I really love the periwinkle/purple ombre version and I was very torn on the version I got vs the gold/rose gold/silver sequin one they have. But whatever your color preference, I am sure there is one available you will love. Shop your closet and pair it with a black top you already own, or get this black bodysuit. It is a great staple for your closet.
The skirt is elastic waist. Praise Jesus for that, and all God’s people said AMEN! 😉 I would suggest sizing up one size. I am normally a size small and that is what I am wearing here as well, but one size up would have probably fit slightly better. The sequins stayed on well for me and for $30, you really can’t beat it.
Gold Booties
If you love flashy, fun shoes like I do, you should get you some fun gold boots. These are from a couple of years ago and are not available anymore, but I found some really cute options that are perhaps even cuter! Gold booties will pair well with several other outfits that I already have; like this gold star dress. They will look great with a LBD or a faux leather skirt with a gold top or a top with gold accents. Really the sky is the limit. I would also suggest sizing up a half size on them as well. If you already have black shoes, just wear those, unless you really want to invest in the gold. But don’t go spending money you don’t have for just one night. I am about as frugal as I can be and I need to know I will get plenty of use before I buy something.
What are your New Year’s Eve plans this year? Do you dress up and go out or just stay in and chill? I am not going to lie, most of the time I am crashed and asleep by 10:30; I suppose I am getting old. Maybe since I have this cute excuse to dress up this year, in this New Year’s Eve outfit, I will find something to do. Drop your suggestions below in the comments.
