Maxi Dress
A maxi dress and summer time just seem to make the perfect pair. As I am sure you know, I personally think dresses and skirts are so much more comfortable and cool in the hot, humid south. I love one that makes a statement too.
Now, let’s discuss THIS DRESS! I should probably go ahead and apologize for posting SO MANY pictures of it. But I just have to be honest, I could not limit this maxi dress to just 5 or 6 photos, it is just too gorgeous! I got this “Endearment Chiffon Maxi” from Chicwish and it is my current obsession. It is so well made and flattering! The blue color with the floral print is pretty and feminine. I love the way it cinches at the waist with a tie belt. You can tie it in the front or back. Or you could dress it up even more with a white or silver belt if you wanted. I paired this dress with my knock off studded Valentino heels and think it makes the perfect accent.
The best part about this maxi dress is that it is so comfortable. It is classy and could be worn to a formal event, wedding or a baby shower! My friend has a baby shower in June and I am totally wearing this to celebrate her and her new baby boy. It also comes in pink and I am seriously considering picking it up too! I also love that it can be worn in the Spring, but transition through Summer and Fall. Do you love it as much as me?
Life Update
I have to confess something, I took these photos a couple of years ago. But I did update the links and the post to be accurate. This maxi dress is still one of my favorites and it is still in stock. What can I say, life sometimes just gets in the way of the things you actually WANT to do. I love blogging, but I work full-time and have a second job. There are days when I get home and do a load of laundry and pick up the house and just can’t even stomach the thought of opening the computer to type or stare at the screen any longer.
There have been so many days over the last year that I almost pulled the plug on my blog. I feel like I have been under a mountain of stress, grief and monumental life changes over the last two years. I try not to focus too much on the personal parts of my life on here, though the loss of my Mama is an exception to that rule. But ultimately I have poured my heart and soul into this space of the internet. Even if don’t ever have 25k visitors a month, it is a reflection of me and my life and personality and it makes me proud and happy to have created it. I try to share good deals and beautiful clothes, yummy recipes and real life. If you are reading this, I hope that it brings you joy of some kind. Thank you for choosing to stop by and read my rambling. 🙂
Very proud of you Laura! So glad you did not quit blogging I know that is something that you love to do and you are very good at it. I know that your momma would be very proud of you! You should continue doing something that you love doing.
Thanks, I hope I make her proud! Hopefully, I can keep this blogging going.
