Best Christmas Movies
Everyone has their own personal list of best Christmas movies that they love. So this blog post is not really original, but I always love reading others favorites, so hopefully, you will enjoy reading mine.
5. The Santa Clause
I’ve seen all three of the movies, but the original will forever be the best. Every year I watch it, Tim Allen is at his best. It is just a good, wholesome movie and never gets old.
4. Home Alone
I was 9 years old when this movie released. And one of my favorite memories is going to the theatre to see it on Thanksgiving night with my family. I remember my Papaw laughing hysterically during the burglary scenes. And every time I watch it, I think of him. No matter how many times I have seen it, it is still funny.
3. Christmas Vacation
What can I say that everyone else hasn’t already said about Christmas Vacation. It is a classic that really needs no introduction. There are so many scenes that make me laugh, but this one is my favorite. Probably because I might throw a temper tantrum like this occasionally. But it mostly reminds me of my brother. LOL!
2. Four Christmases
If you don’t love Reese Witherspoon, we can’t be friends. Haha! So many people have not seen this movie for some reason and it is one of the best. It is real life funny. Vince Vaughn is comedic gold. Do yourself a favor and watch this one. Make sure you enjoy the Taboo game scene, it might be my favorite. Every time I play Taboo, I bring up this movie.
1. Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors
I am a huge Dolly Parton fan, I mean how can you not love her? I remember when this movie came out at Christmas in 2015, my Mama called to tell me to watch it. So I forced my children to watch it with me. They were not happy about it. But after the first scene with young Dolly, they were entranced. And then a couple of weeks ago, I forced my nieces to watch it too. And the opinion is clear. It is a great movie! I highly recommend it as a great, wholesome movie that is perfect for everyone.
