Blue Cocktail Dress
Fall wedding guest dress purchases can be a complicated thing, especially in the south. Depending on the day, it could be warm and beautiful and in the 70’s or it could be freezing with the wind whipping. A couple of years ago I went to a beautiful wedding in early November. It was brutally cold though and I couldn’t feel my feet by the end.
It is wise to be prepared for anything around here when you are planning a guest dress. I live in the “city of Four Seasons” and sometimes we joke that we have all four in one day. I picked up this blue cocktail dress a couple of years ago on Amazon and never got around to posting about it. But I think for a fall wedding guest dress, it is perfection; assuming the weather is right. It falls in under $30 and comes in a ton of colors. I love the adjustable straps and the slight ruching at the waist. I think it fits TTS and I am in a small.
Fall Wedding Guest Dress-Off the Shoulder
I am a big fan of jewel tone colors for fall. And royal blue has always been one of my favorite colors to wear all year. This adorable off the shoulder dress is only $31! It fits great and the material is not thin either. I love the way it has a high/low hemline. It allows movement but is still classy. For a fall wedding guest dress, this one is a keeper. And you can wear it more than just the fall too. I paired it with some fun statement heels and simple jewelry. Add a clutch and you are good to go!
Satin Long Sleeve Midi
I have actually had this satin midi dress for a couple of years. But it is still one of my most loved dresses. Every single time I wear it, I get compliments on it. I love it for a fall wedding guest dress. But I also adore it to transition to holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s Day. It is important to me that I get a lot of wear from my dresses so being able to utilize them many times is such a big deal. This dress is perfect for cooler fall days since it has long sleeves and is a midi length. The price is great at $50 too! It comes in a navy color as well, that would work great for Fall too!
Wedding Season
There are many that think wedding season is in the spring and summer. And to an extent that is true. However, if you have ever been to a wedding in WNC in the fall, there is nothing quite like it. The leaves in the mountains of western North Carolina are some of the most gorgeous in all the country. One of the prettiest weddings I ever attended was at Jeter Mountain Farm. The property is the picture perfect place for a southern wedding.
The mountains are the most gorgeous back drop you can imagine; especially at the height of leaf season! If you are looking for a venue that will check all the boxes for your wedding, consider giving them a call for Hendersonville Wedding Venue Pricing.
In addition to weddings, they also host other events. In the past, I have attended gala’s there that were flawless too. The organization that goes into creating an event of any magnitude is astounding. And in my experience, I have never been disappointed with this venue or its staff. All of this wedding talk has me craving some great wedding cake! It is one of the highlights of every wedding for me. What is your favorite kind?
