Plant Based, Dairy Free Smoothie Bowl Plant Based, Dairy Free Smoothie Bowl Plant Based, Dairy Free Smoothie Bowl*This post is sponsored by Dah!

Plant based, diary free, organic foods, smoothie and acai bowls seem to be all the rage these days.  So many people have food allergies or are lactose intolerant.  Moreover, a healthy and balanced diet is important to myself and many others.  So when Dah! reached out to me to try their yogurt I was so excited.

Dah! Yogurt is India-Style yogurt that is rich and flavorful due to the process.  This yogurt is prepared at a lower temperature and cools slower.  This unique process allows for exceptional taste, smooth texture and a product that is super high in pro-biotics.  You can learn more here and find out where to buy as well.

This past weekend, I kept my nieces and nephew for a bit and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to have a taste test.  After I made dinner and they hit me up for a snack, I asked them if they wanted to help me make a smoothie bowl.  They were so excited to help! And they love fruit so I knew it would be a hit.

Smoothie Bowl Instructions

I grabbed the Dah!  Strawberry India-Style Almond Yogurt, frozen strawberries, kiwi and bananas and some water.  The great thing about smoothie bowls is you can make them whatever you want.  Honestly, I would have added spinach, but I knew if they saw it they wouldn’t try it.  Gotta pick your battles, right?  Haha!

The yogurt went in the blender with the frozen fruit and then I added about 1/2 cup of water.  You could use coconut water, almond milk or the milk of your choice if you want, I just like water.  Then after it was to the desired thickness, I poured it into a bowl and added the toppings.  This is the part that is the most fun to me.  Choose whatever you like and add it to the top.

For this smoothie bowl, I added sliced fresh blueberries, bananas, strawberries and kiwis.  But you could add chocolate chips, granola, chia seeds, nuts, coconut….really the sky is the limit.  So grab some great tasting and healthy Dah! yogurt and get to making a smoothie bowl.
