Confessions of A Leopard Print Lover
I have to confess something….leopard print is my weakness. I could lie and say that my love for leopard started just recently, but I have had it in my closet for years. One of my most worn blouses I have had for almost 10 years and you guessed it, full leopard print. I have also had leopard heels for years, but recently upgraded to these really amazing ones.
You may be wondering, why do I love leopard. For me it is simple; it is classic and the perfect neutral. Today I want to share how you can style this one dress in three different ways. Afterwards maybe you will be a leopard print lover too!
Style 1: The Classic Look
This basic leopard print dress from 1.State is perfect for dressing up or down. I styled it for my photos very simply. I only added black booties and basic gold jewelry; but I felt like it was a simple and classic look. I love the style of the dress and think it is really perfect for work, date night or to wear anywhere really. The dress buttons up the front and has a belt that is the same material that cinches in at the waist. It also has a black cami slip dress underneath for some added coverage and to keep you from seeing through.
Style 2: The Edgy Look
To take this dress more edgy, it is pretty simple really. Just add a black moto jacket and some black buckle combat boots or over the knee boots. The addition of the black will really make the leopard print pop. You can also change out the belt to a solid black belt like this Gucci dupe and add some statement black jewelry and a smokey eye. This look will have everyone talking…in the I want to be her way. 😉
Style 3: Work Wear Look
If you have been around my blog at all, you know I dress up for work every day so work wear is a big deal to me. You could style this dress in a couple of different ways for work, actually. I would probably add a camel blazer, like my favorite one from JCrew. It is seriously the most worn blazer I own! Shoes and jewelry are always important to pull a look together. I would add a slim gold belt, gold jewelry and finish the look with these nude Valentino dupes. It is the perfect work look and even though it is leopard print, it is completely professional.
Have I convinced you to be a leopard print lover yet? Which look do you think you would love the most? When I style this dress in the other options, I will be sure to post it on Instagram for your opinions too!
